Marina Lav and Le Méridien Lav, Podstrana

Where your yacht waits

Marina Lav sits in Podstrana, on the coast just south of Split, and is part of the Le Méridien Lav resort. Boarding here means no city traffic and no crowded quay: a short walk along the promenade takes you from the hotel to the berth.

  • About 8 km south of Split’s old town
  • Berths for yachts up to 40 m, with a fuel station on site
  • Hotel pools, spa and restaurants a few steps from the pier

How the day unfolds

  1. MorningBoard at Marina Lav. Your skipper walks you through the yacht and the route you have chosen.
  2. Late morningCross to the Pakleni Islands or Hvar town in about an hour, or head to Brač for the beach at Zlatni Rat.
  3. AfternoonLunch on Palmižana (see below) or on board, then a swim stop in a quiet bay of the Pakleni Islands.
  4. EveningBack at Lav for golden hour, as the sun sets over the Adriatic in front of the hotel’s infinity pool.

Times are approximate. Your skipper adapts the route to the wind and the sea on the day.

Lunch on Palmižana

Palmižana, on Sveti Klement, the largest of the Pakleni Islands, is about an hour from Split by yacht and has two of the best tables on the Adriatic. Your yacht anchors in the bay and the restaurant’s boat or your skipper brings you ashore.

Fine dining

Zori

Creative cooking with fresh catch and local produce, on the shore of Vinogradišće bay. Our first choice for a special lunch.

Lounge & fish house

Laganini

A relaxed lounge bar and fish restaurant, known for its seafood and cocktails. Ideal for a long, easy afternoon.

In summer both fill up early. Reserve your table in advance and your skipper will arrange the arrival by boat.

In autumn the sun drops into the sea right in front of Le Méridien Lav, and the infinity pool turns into a mirror.

Golden hour at Lav

The last scene in our film was not staged. Plan your return for about an hour before sunset, step off the yacht and walk straight up to the terrace. It is the easiest way to end a day at sea in Split.
